Terms of Service
By creating an account or using RideAfri you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. The service
RideAfri is a technology platform that connects people who need rides or deliveries ("senders") with independent riders. RideAfri does not itself provide transport; riders are independent and not our employees.
2. Accounts
You must be 18 or older and give accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your password secure. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.
3. Riders
Riders must hold the licences, documents and insurance that the law requires, submit genuine documents for verification, and follow traffic and safety laws. We may approve, reject or revoke rider access at our discretion.
4. Fares and payments
Fares are shown before you confirm a trip and may change if the route or details change. Payments are processed by third-party providers. Promo codes and credits are subject to their stated conditions and may expire.
5. Cancellations and disputes
Cancellation fees may apply as shown in the app. If something goes wrong with a trip, open a support ticket in the app and we will review it.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use RideAfri for anything unlawful, to send prohibited or dangerous items, to harass others, to commit fraud, or to interfere with the service.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, RideAfri is not liable for losses caused by riders, senders or third parties, or for service interruptions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes and termination
We may update these terms and will post the new version here. You can stop using RideAfri at any time and may request account deletion.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, unless local consumer law in your country requires otherwise.
